Kids Caroling in Tacloban Wow Netizens with Their Impressive Voices

Tacloban City, Leyte, is a place of hope, where people have risen from the difficulties they experienced during the onslaught of Typhoon Yolanda.

Recently, two boys from Tacloban City went viral on various social media groups for their impressive voices while out caroling in the city.

They were caught on video by someone riding a vehicle stuck in traffic at the time.

While we are waiting for the Van here in TACLOBAN LEYTE, this two kids is so WOW😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗 JUST WATCH AND LISTEN nalang at kayo na humusga… #Amazing🎶❤️” Ritz Terante Collado shared on Facebook.

After listening to the video, many netizens agreed with Collado’s observation. Indeed, the kids have incredible talent. They were able to sing so beautifully despite the fact that they were not even using musical instruments to serenade the passengers with their Christmas carols.

As of press time, the video has gained over 3.9 million views on Facebook! Isn’t that impressive?

A lot of netizens encouraged others to share the video so that these kids will go viral and get their shot at fame. Perhaps when that happens, they would get discovered – and certainly life would be much better for them if they get signed by a record company.

Sarap talaga ulit ulitin, nakakatanggal stress boses ng mga batang to,” one netizen wrote.

Others were wondering how much the passengers gave the kids, considering they had great voices. How much would you have given these kids if you were riding on that vehicle?

Soon, the boys were featured on TV Patrol. They were identified as cousins: 12-year-old Arvin and 14-year-old Angelito. The boys go caroling at the bus station so they can earn some money for food and to help their families.

The two were happy that their video went viral, thanking the uploader.

Student Goes Viral for Standing Outside UP with ‘Reconsider Me’ Sign

It had always been his dream to study at the University of the Philippines (UP) but when he failed the entrance exams, one student decided to show his determination by standing outside the Office of the University Registrar at UP Diliman with a sign that read, “RECONSIDER ME?”

Ino Pamaran, a graduating Grade 12 student from the University of Perpetual Help – Las Pinas, took the University of the Philippines – College Admission Test (UPCAT) but failed to reach the cut-off mark. Determined to get into the university to fulfill his dream, the young man decided to a one-man silent demonstration out the school’s registrar office.

From morning to late afternoon, Pamaran stood at the sidewalk while holding the “RECONSIDER ME?” sign. UP student ‎Isabelle Lalatag shared a photo of Pamaran to Narinig Ko Sa UP (Overheard at UP) Facebook page where it would soon go viral.

Curious as to what the young man was thinking and what he thought he might be able to achieve with his deed, Lalatag asked him about it.

Maybe the right person will come along and see how determined I am,” Pamaran replied.

The day ended with no school official offering him a slot in the school or to reconsider him for admission, but his story has gone viral and he received a number of advice from other UP students who were not able to make the first cut.

According to these UP students and alumni, Pamaran could try actually going to the registrar’s office or the department he wants to enroll in to ask them for reconsideration. While his actions made him go viral on social media, it would still be better if he went to the proper offices that could directly address his concern.

If that does not work, many suggested that he enroll in another school and obtain high marks. If he obtains grades 1.75 or higher, then he has a better chance of getting accepted in UP as transferee.

No Medals? No Problem! Student Buys Medals, Borrows from Classmates on Graduation Day

For many students and their parents, medals and awards are a form of proof and great reward for doing their best the entire year. There are many students who receive a lot of medals and get to graduate at the top of their class. On the other side of the coin, however, are those who are sometimes dubbed as ‘just normal’ or ‘just regular’ for not being an honor student.

But a student, most likely the class clown, recently went viral for his unusual ‘life hack’ after learning that he won’t be getting any medals for Graduation Day.

Shared on Facebook by user Logbet Manyaman, the graduate confessed that he borrowed medals from his awardee classmates and even bought one for Php20 just in case no one would let him borrow their medal on the day.

Hiding the medals in his hand as he walked on stage, the graduate hilariously posed for the camera for full effect.

After receiving his diploma from one official on stage, possibly the school administrator or principal, the graduate pivoted and opened his palm to reveal the many medals he had hidden – and this was received by much cheering and laughter from the crowd.

Lucky for him the school staff weren’t strict and when he moved to put the medals on, the officer even gamely told him to give the medals to his mother so she could be the one to put it over his head. The hilarious video has gone viral, with many people commenting about this graduate being ‘madiskarte sa buhay’.

At least for the last part ng senior life niya Dumiskarte tlga siya. Nkakahiya man para sa normal na occasion deserve niya ang isang medal para sa pagiging Wise 😂👏,” one netizen wrote.

But the post was also met with criticism on social media; with some people believing that something like this should not be made into a joke.

Though grades do not define a person, students should not put joke on this event.. Pnaghirapan ng iba mkakuha ng awards… Saksi ang mga teachers how these achievers put efforts just to accomplished tasks in various subjects. Nakakalulungkot…” another netizen wrote.

Couple Goes Back to Tulfo for Update on 16-Year-Old Son and His Teacher GF

A number of netizens are angry at the 26-year-old teacher who ran away with a 16-year-old kid, but their anger moved to the boy when he finally surfaced and went with his parents to Raffy Tulfo.

It can be recalled that earlier in March, Tatay Ambrosio and Nanay Erlinda Geguiera went to Raffy for help in making their son Noel come back home. They told Raffy that their son, still 16, ran away with his girlfriend who first pretended to be 15 years old but turned out to be 26 and working as a teacher.

On March 19, Tatay Ambrosio and Nanay Erlinda went back to Raffy for an update on their son. This time, Noel came with his parents to explain his side.

It turned out he had come back home the previous day after his parents sought help from Raffy. However, he was not willing to break up with Angelika Uy who he claims to love dearly. He does not want to leave Angelika, saying he would rather comply with his parents’ wishes for him to complete his studies but would still not break up with her.

With the two living in Bulacan, they are far away from his parents’ home. But Angelika promised to still send Noel to school and support him. Tatay Ambrosio confirmed that Noel will finish his high school via the Alternative Learning System (ALS) this April.

At first, Noel complained about his parents having a favorite child, with his elder brother the one being ‘loved more’ because he is smart and responsible. But Raffy stopped him and said that all parents love their children and that he should not put himself down.

Meanwhile, Nanay Erlinda explained that Noel got angry because they first bought his elder brother a cellphone and told him to wait for his because they are not rich and could not afford to buy two cellphones at the same time. This could be one of the main reasons why Noel easily got attracted to Angelika who was not just beautiful but also had the means to give him what he wants.

He also explained what really happened as to why they became a couple and their plans for the future.
