Video of Workers Scrambling to Get Cash from Office Floor Goes Viral

Every office or company has its own gimmick to give money to employees or to create a fun activity. But one office recently went viral after a video showed its workers scrambling to get cash from the office floor!

Office Goes Viral for Yearly Tradition

Businesswoman Joreen Cuerdo Ruzol shared a video of their workers scrambling on the floor, carrying plastic bags and trying their best to gather as much cash as they could! According to Ruzol, this has been their yearly tradition on the first day of work after the long Christmas break.

Though they had been doing this tradition for 10 years, they were surprised when they recently got viral after the video earned both positive and negative reactions from netizens.

At the start of the video, someone could be seen standing by the door of an empty room. The foreground shows money on the office floor, scattered around and showing different coins and bills alike.

After the door was opened, in fly the workers as they scrambled to get as much money as they could off the floor. The target is to get the bills with bigger value, of course, but getting more of the bills is also a good thing.

It is quite obvious in the video that the workers are having a good time as they tried their best to get as much money as they could. They were scrambling on the floor but it was all for fun.

While there were many netizens who jokingly wished that they were part of this office, there were others who slammed the administration for letting their workers do this. Some think that it would be better to just give the money in envelopes to the workers so that it would also be fair.

Responding to the attention the video has received, Ruzol said that they had been doing this for 10 years as tradition and had no plans to quit just because they received negative reactions from some netizens.

She explained that the workers had already received their bonus (in envelope) every December during their Christmas party. This activity is simply a yearly tradition they do to have fun.

Watch the video here:

Is Bonus Mandatory in the Philippines?

Employees are entitled to a 13th month pay which can be given in full in December or split into two. But in practice, there are many companies that give out additional bonuses, with the 13th month pay given in full by the middle of the year and another bonus, called the “14th month pay” provided in December.

Seller Goes Viral for “Angry” Reviews to Prove Products’ Durability

A seller goes viral for “angry” reviews to prove his products’ durability – and customers love it! He’s also gaining fame as a content creator in the process because of his unique content. Win-win situation, yes?

Seller Goes Viral for Unique Marketing Strategy

When you’re buying something online, you want to make sure that it’s exactly the way it is described and that it’s durable. After all, there are so many unscrupulous sellers out there who post pics or vids of great products but send you something that totally different from what they advertised.

But you’d have to buy the products being endorsed by Jomar Yee, a TikToker who’s making a name for himself with “angry” reviews that prove these products’ durability.

In his product reviews, Jomar is known to smack on the item, slam it on the floor, smash it on the wall, or even stomp on it repeatedly.

While reviewing a bag product, he “angrily” pulls the zipper back and forth.

To prove that a basin is durable, he even stomped on it several times, pushed it back to its original shape, then stomped on it again.

Reviewing an umbrella meant shaking it back and forth, reminiscent of the strong stormy winds that you might encounter – and the product survived that without breaking.

Many of his videos are now making waves on social media, with lots of netizens praising the product reviews (and the products themselves).

While many netizens are saying that they’re enjoying his videos, some have also bought the products.

Although some were also skeptical and said that these are likely fake reviews and he’d send less quality products just like other online sellers, some of those who actually bought the products commented that these were, indeed, as durable as Jomar had reviewed.

Best Marketing Strategies

There are many different wants to market your products – and being unique is something that can truly make you stand out from the competition. That’s exactly what Jomar was able to achieve.

While there are already so many sellers using TikTok as a platform to expand their customer base, it seems that he’s the first to conduct reviews in this manner.

Whamos Pranks His Mom, Makes Her Sign St. Peter Application

Whamos pranks his mom with a St. Peter plan application. She’s furious at first, but netizens think it’s a good idea – and urge Whamos to actually push through with getting the plan.

What do you think?

Whamos Pranks His Mom with a St. Peter Plan Application

There are many things that Filipinos are uncomfortable talking about because they’re either a taboo topic or something that’s filled with superstition.

For example, many people don’t save money because of the superstitious belief that someone in the family will get sick if they do that.

Losing life and arranging wakes are also filled with a lot of superstitions – so much that so many people are terrified of getting a memorial plan because they fear that something bad might happen to that person because they’re preparing for that moment.

For these people, if people urge them to get a memorial plan, it’s akin to wishing that they’ll actually be using that plan soon!

So, imagine the fright felt by the mother of social media star Whamos Cruz when he asked her to fill out an application for a St. Peter life plan.

Whamos recently went viral and earned praise online for getting a life insurance plan for his baby, but St. Peter life plan is something else, of course.

His mom’s reaction shows exactly what so many Filipinos think, but Whamos keeps explaining that it’s good for them to be ready for anything because you never really know what happens in life. It didn’t help that he also kept joking that they might need it for her next year.

His mom said that she’s 46 years old.

Still, despite being unhappy with the idea, she agrees to sign the application with everyone’s help.

Although it might just be a prank, many netizens urge Whamos to actually submit the application. They explained that getting a life plan doesn’t mean you’re wishing somebody ill because it’s really just a practical thing to do.

Advantages of Getting a Memorial Plan

Like other pre-need plans, getting a memorial plan can be cheaper than when you have to pay for it in full at the time you or your family needs it.

Also, you’re likely to get the price locked in for the cost of the memorial services at the time you got the plan. If in case the costs go higher, you can receive the same services but paid a much lower amount than the prevailing rates.

Some plans also offer a “money-back” promo so that if you don’t use the plan after a certain number of years (St. Peter offered this for some plans after 15 years), then you get the amount equivalent to the money your paid, but the plan is still valid and can be used even after you get your money back.

Video of Bride’s Grand Entrance Goes Viral after Door-Opening Struggle

The video of a bride’s grand entrance to the wedding recently went viral after the dramatic moment was slightly delayed by the door-opening struggle.

Though the wedding coordinators had previously tested the door, they had a difficult time opening it when they actually needed to do it during the bride’s actual entrance. Oooops.

Good thing the bride was a good sport and simply laughed it off.

Bride’s Grand Entrance Slightly Marred by Door-Opening Struggle

It is said that the bride is the central and main character in the wedding – and the groom is really just the second place because it’s her time to shine.

Of course, that’s debatable but it’s also true that many couples splurge on the bride’s wedding gown, hair and makeup, and accessories – and it’s even an unwritten rule that no one else should wear a white dress to avoid taking the limelight from the bride.

Also, the bride gets to have her grand entrance after everyone else in the entourage had taken their walk down the aisle.

But not everything goes as planned.

Bride Ghie Anne Marie Cioco was about to enter the church in Masbate City for the wedding, but the doors refused to cooperate.

The wedding coordinators had wanted the moment to be dramatic, so they closed the doors after the entire entourage had entered. But though they tested them beforehand, the heavy doors refused to budge.

It took some time before they were finally able to get the doors open – and we’re wondering whether the people inside were thinking that the bride might have ran away. LOL

Zye Lee explained that the old doors were really finicky and had to be pulled in a certain way to get them opened.

And while they were puzzled why the doors refused to open for several seconds, they were thankful that the bride handled the situation with grace and was laughing as they struggled – then quickly entered when the door finally opened.

Lee joked that the bride was afraid the doors might close again. LOL.

Here’s the video:

Making a Grand Wedding Entrance

It’s always a grand entrance for brides in a church wedding because they enter last – right after the flower girls.

During the wedding reception, however, there are many ways that the couple can make their grand entrance. One favorite way of doing this is for the couple to dance their way in.

Others have also done a grand entrance to the wedding or reception by singing or doing a certain performance.
