Customer Refuses to Pay after Delivery Rider is 4 Minutes Late, Gives Him Bad Rating

A customer refuses to pay after the delivery rider arrived 4 minutes late – and she even gave him a bad rating! Tsk. Tsk.

Fake Order or Perfectionist Customer?

Lalamove rider Keith De Guzman shared a bad experience he had with a customer who was either a perfectionist customer or had simply made a fake order.

At around 1:50PM on May 18, Keith received the booking from the customer. He immediately went to the pick up area and was at the customer’s gate by 2:24PM.

The customer refuses to pay for the order, telling him that there was a note on the booking, stating that the delivery should be made by 2:20PM. Keith explained that he had immediately gone to the pick up area after receiving the booking. He also apologized for being 4 minutes late, but the woman still refused to pay up.

Then, the customer told him that it would be best if he just eat the food because she can’t pay for it as her dad was the one who was supposed to pay but had already gone out. Keith pointed out that this is a COD order or cash on delivery yet the woman ignored his messages and won’t also pay for the delivery fee!

Frustrated but still polite, Keith urged the woman to come out so they can share the food as he can’t consume everything.

Sige ma’am. Labas na lang po kayo. Wag mo na bayaran. Hati na lang tayo baka di ko po maubos to eh,” he half-joked.

But the woman had the audacity to give him a low rating for the order!

Is COD a Better Option?

For customers, COD is a better option because it allows them to order without much hassle as they don’t have to pay first using online options or bank deposits. However, this has become a big problem for many delivery riders who receive fake bookings or prank orders.

Photos of Handsome Cops at Checkpoint Go Viral

Handsome cops at a checkpoint go viral after netizens saw their pictures. Many are wishing that these guys can also visit other areas so they can take pictures with these handsome policemen and be inspired. LOL.

Handsome Cops Go Viral

While it is said that it is not a good thing to judge people based on their looks, it is really human nature to do that, anyway. That’s the reason why most actors and actresses all have good looks, no matter in Hollywood or local showbiz screen.

For many people, the handsome and gorgeous ones should go for jobs like in modeling or being popular stars. Yet there are also a lot of people who do ‘ordinary’ jobs yet also look fantastic, obviously!

Take for examples these young cops in Escalante City, Negros Occidental in central Visayas. The three were identified as Patrolmen Jesus Burgos, BJ Laurel, and Bryan Garcia who are all assigned at the same checkpoint location in the city.

Looking snappy in their uniforms and each holding a tall order of what looks like iced coffee or perhaps milk tea, the three cops actually appear to be models of the brand wearing police costume, rather than being real cops. Cute!

A number of netizens joked that they wished these guys would be sent to other checkpoints in the Philippines so they can also meet them! Others joked that they would surely ask for an autograph or have their photos taken with these cops.

Wala ng intro intro fan sign fan sign na this hehe snappy salute brave warrior frontline heroes…long live!” one netizen joked.

But some netizens said this is stereotyping and that people should stop sharing these handsome guys’ photos on social media if they can’t also appreciate the frontliners who don’t look handsome. Eeeep. Do you agree?

What’s a Fan Sign?

A fan sign is a sign or message written on a board or piece of paper that you take a picture with. It could be viewed as an upgraded autograph because the star or celebrity actually takes a photo with the sign before sharing it online or sending to the fan.

Singer Gets Blocked by Groom Who Wanted Her to Sing 20 Songs for Free at Wedding

A singer gets blocked by a groom who wanted her to sing 20 songs for free at his wedding! The guy told her that she is greedy for asking payment because she is “just going to sing”! Tsk. Tsk.

Singers Gets Blocked by Groom

These days, a lot of singers get exposure from TV and online shows. They gain followers from these shows, allowing them to make a name for themselves and also make money. Since many of them become singers for a living, they do need to earn money from their shows and invitations.

Patricia Joy Peñano became part of the “I Can See Your Voice” TV show on ABS CBN as “Secret Songer”. Since her stint on the show, she received a lot of messages from fans, asking her to sing at their wedding or some other special event.

Since she enjoys singing and can also earn from these events, she does not mind guesting in these special occasions.

But back in May, she had an encounter with a groom who demanded that she sing 20 songs at his wedding – for free! He actually got angry that she wants to be paid for singing 20 songs because he thinks that she should do it for free because “she’s just going to sing”.

While singing is easy for singers, of course, doing it as someone’s wedding (especially someone they don’t even know) is a job, not something that one should expect to be free of charge! Tsk. Tsk.

The groom name-dropped a Mayor, saying he is their relative and that if Peñano will sing at his wedding, he can help her become popular because he will share their videos for his followers and friends.

Peñano politely declined but he got so mad that he said so many hurtful words at her, then blocked her! The singer only posted about the incident recently, saying that this should be a lesson for others, too.

Finding a Wedding Singer

Finding a wedding singer can be tricky but if you know someone who can sing well, you can invite him/her to sing at your wedding. Don’t expect them to do it for free, however, especially if you want them to sing several songs.

Often, wedding coordinators will recommend a good singer or may already offer a package that includes everything, such as the wedding singer and reception emcee.
