Awesome Video of Downburst Makes Netizens Think of ‘Tsunami from Heaven’

Nature is truly amazing! There are a lot of things in nature that are difficult to explain so that people sometimes think that these strange phenomenon are made by magical entities.

One video recently went viral because of the beautiful power of nature that was caught on camera.

A 27-year-old guy from Switzerland, Peter Maier, was just enjoying his vacation at Lake Millsatt in Austria when he chanced upon a rather incredible weather phenomenon unfolding right before his eyes.

Called a wet microburst or a downburst, the weather phenomenon started from the mountain range. What made this video even more incredible is that it appears as if the heavens opened its floodgates and dumped so much rain into the lake.

It was beautiful to watch but also t********g to see.

For sure, that downburst had held a lot of energy and poured so much water with so much force on the mountains as well as the lake below but netizens were amazed by what they had seen.

Maier was even so amazed that he took a video of the phenomenon unfolding right before his eyes. He was at his hotel room balcony at the time, relaxing when he noticed the heavy downpour.

He knew he had to take a video because this thing rarely happens and it is even rarer to get a video.

Maier described the beautiful phenomenon as a ‘tsunami from heaven’ – and we certainly agree with his description. The time-lapse video has since gone viral, gaining nearly 3.5 million views since it was uploaded on YouTube.

While many netizens said they felt terrified by the video, knowing the amount of water falling and the force it was being dumped into the lake, a lot were simply amazed at the power and beauty of nature.

Someone joked that this was just the hand of God refilling the lake…

VIDEO: Despite Possibility of Sudden Eruption, Resident Treks to Taal Volcano Crater

Taal Volcano might look so small and peaceful but this is the second most active volcano in the Philippines and among the 16 ‘most terrible’ decade volcanoes in the world! When it erupted on January 12, 2020, thousands of residents had to flee from towns around the lake.

Nearly 2 weeks after its phreatic eruption, the possibility of an explosive eruption remains as volcanologists continue to detect magma flow towards its surface; thus, Alert Level 4 remains up and residents are prohibited from entering the towns within the 14-kilometer radius around the volcanic island. The island is also off-limits, but some brave (or perhaps foolhardy) residents continue to defy police orders as they sneak in to get their belongings.

Recently, one resident was hailed for his bravery but also admonished by netizens after he trekked towards the crater of Taal Volcano to take a video and share what the volcano looks like after the eruption.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), Taal Volcano has 47 craters. Over history, eruptions happened in many of these craters. This year’s eruption happened at the main crater – and one resident (and a cameraman) actually trekked towards the crater to film the aftermath of the eruption!

Apparently, the resident went back to his home to check whether he could still save some stuff. But curiosity got the better of him as he trekked towards the crater, seeing that only a small smoke is coming out.

Despite the possibility of a sudden eruption that could easily claim his life or the fact that the new terrain is something he’s unsure of, this guy went to the mouth of the volcano to take a video. He explained to viewers how the eruption changed the landscape, not just taking out all the trees but also creating new holes in the ground and ‘humps’ in the otherwise flat area before the eruption occurred.

Here’s the video:

School Guard Goes Viral for Funny Moves after Joining “Tala” Dance of Students

School guards are often known to be strict, with their no-nonsense imposition of the school rules. But one school guard recently went viral for showing us the lighter side of these manong guards as he joins the “Tala” dance that some students are doing at the school he is guarding.

The yet to be identified guard works at Silliman University, a school in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental in central Philippines. The guard is assigned to monitor the grounds of this huge university.

At the time the video was taken, some students were performing to the “Tala” dance craze when this kuya guard decided to join in and have some fun.

Al Crimson Diputado Alcaide shares two videos of the dancing guard, with one taken in front of Silliman Church where the guard’s funny dance moves were clearly seen as he was much farther from the young dancers and basically had the ‘stage’ (actually the street) all to himself.

This first video was taken by May Lanie Alcaide Dandal who also works at the university. Dandal and the other onlookers could be heard cheering more for the school guard than the dancing students. Someone commented that the guard looks so cute and funny as he danced, even when he’s got a big belly. But most netizens were simply amused with his funny moves.

In a second video posted by Alcaide but still credited to Dandal, the school guard had moved from his spot in front of the church to the grassy area just a few steps away from the students who were dancing at the stage area of the Amphitheater.

Again, netizens found it cute that he would dance in this manner, saying that they had a good time watching this manong guard’s version of the “Tala” dance craze.

When driving, it is always very important to stay calm and focused on the road and your driving, not on what other people are doing. But road rage happens to many people – and this could lead to real accidents that could actually cost lives.

Recently, a doctor went viral for the road rage videos shared by the wife of an L300 driver with whom he had an altercation with. This doctor angrily shouts at the L300 driver, telling him to call his boss because he knows for certain the driver is just a driver, not the owner of the vehicle.

As the driver’s wife accused him of being rude and for threatening them, the doctor insists that she shut up because he is talking to the driver, not to her.

When the woman told him that he threw something at their vehicle, that’s why she’s joining the conversation, the doctor denied this. He claimed that he never threw anything, but the couple’s daughter saw it. He asked whether they had evidence but because they couldn’t produce a video of him throwing something at them, the doctor just laughed off the accusations.

According to the doctor, he was trying to merge with the L300 driver’s lane, but the latter would not let him. This angered him so much that he followed them until they reached the Petron station where the L300 driver stopped to buy gas.

A lot of netizens are telling the couple to seek help from Raffy Tulfo in Action. In posts on his Facebook page, the doctor said he would go to Tulfo first to make a public apology to stop the issue.
