Woman Marries Man She Met Online, Discovers He’s Secretly Rich

One woman married a guy she had met online and had a relationship for just 5 months, but she would be quite surprised to discover that he’s actually been keeping a big secret from her: he’s crazy rich!

Nguyen Van Anh, a Vietnamese woman, looks gorgeous and has had a lot of admirers even when she was in school, yet she never really got interested in any of these guys. For most of her adult life, she was single.

After graduating from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2015, she became a successful career woman. She felt there was something ‘missing’ in her life, yet she didn’t know what it was.

In May 2016, she was just browsing through an idol’s Facebook page when she spotted a man in the background. She doesn’t even know the guy but she felt the urge to message her idol about him, asking for an introduction to this stranger.

The said idol’s curiosity was probably piqued by Nguyen’s question and got the two together. The man was Dang Tuan. The two would soon connect on social media and a whirlwind romance began, despite the distance between them; while Nguyen lives in Vietnam, Dang is based in Russia.

By November, the two were officially a couple. They loved talking to each other and spent hours on the phone. After 5 months of the long-distance relationship, they decided to get married.

Nguyen’s parents disapproved of the union, especially because they feel that the two do not really know each other that much. Dang flew to Vietnam and eventually convinced Nguyen’s parents that he’s truly in love with their daughter and was determined to spend the rest of his life with her.

Now that they had her parents’ blessing, the couple began their wedding preparations – while Nguyen was prepared to have a simple wedding, she was surprised at the lavish plans her would-be husband made. She discovered that he’s actually very rich business who manages a popular international brand.

The two got married in a 5-star hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam last April 2017 and are now based in Russia.

Dang admitted he hid his wealth on purpose because he didn’t want this to affect the course of their relationship – and he was finally able to find a woman who loved him for what he was, not because he was crazy rich!

Wife Wants Millions, Expensive Things from Tulfo after Cheating on Her Husband

A lot of people go to Raffy Tulfo in Action to seek help for various problems; though many of these are domestic issues such as cheating spouses and gold digger partners. But one couple who tried to scam the veteran broadcaster ended up getting shamed after trying to ask millions and expensive things from him.

It started out with the complaint of Edgar Malaque who said that his wife is often cheating on him with other guys. Bringing their kids along, Edgar complained against Chona Malaque who is now living at another man’s house, someone named Virgilio.

Apparently, this is not the first time she’s done this. To save the family for the sake of the children, Tulfo promised to help them go back to the province, Cebu, where he would help set them up for a new life. To help them, Tulfo said he would probably give Tatay Edgar a business or help him find a job.

Watch Part 1 here:

But things took a hilarious turn when Nanay Chona arrived at the studio for the face-to-face. The soft-spoken woman began to demand plenty of things from Tulfo in exchange for going back to her husband. She was the one who cheated on him but she had plenty of terms, especially because she had over Php20,000 in loans that she wanted paid (by Tulfo) before moving to Cebu.

Soon after, she told Tulfo she wants to set up a home for her three children who will be left in Manila while they go home to Cebu. Tulfo laughingly promised to pay for a townhouse or apartment for 5 months.

She also asked for livelihood for her three children. So, Tulfo told her they would get a car with Grab, motorcycle with Angkas, and tricycle with franchise. But she slipped up when she told Tatay Edgar to speak up and tell Tulfo that he really wanted a motorcycle to bring his siblings to school; not their kids as the children had dropped out.

When asked to pick up the cars and motorcycles she wanted for her children, Nanay Chona picked no less than the BMW X5 2019 and Harley Davidson Softail Slim! Whoa. Amused, Tulfo asked her to pick a watch to replace her Avon piece – and she picked a Cartier Ballon Bleu Automatic Ladies Diamond Watch. Sigh.

She also wants a grocery store.

Watch Part 2 here:

So, is Tulfo going to give them all the things they wished for? Not so fast! Tulfo is not that easy to scam, Nanay Chona! Instead of the things they picked and the business he first promised, Tulfo gave them something that they really needed: Marriage counseling.

Watch Part 3 here:

What’s Harley Davidson?

Harley Davidson is an American motorcycle manufacturer known for its beautiful big bikes. The brand is also quite expensive, with a motorcycle costing as much as a car!

Why You Should Consider Wearing a Colored Wedding Dress

colored wedding dress

It has been more than a hundred years since Queen Victoria popularized the wearing of a wedding gown painted in full white, which was a stray from the norm which dictates the wearing of one’s “best clothes,” often black or gray.

Although part of the practice is indeed influenced by a renowned person’s fashion statement, there is also the philosophical aspect why the white is king—or dare I say, queen—in most matrimonial events. While I am for the idea of “purity” and presenting oneself in the best possible way through a certain color, what makes a colored wedding dress less as adopted, based on the common conception of wedding?

There is not a general rule per se which suggests that wearing a wedding gown that is starkly not white is bad. Nor does doing so insinuates anything less than the bride’s personal preference or display of character. Although it is true that certain colors mean different things to various culture and that white, among other colors, have a universal connotation to it, this does not necessarily vilify what is otherwise an innocent color preference. Black is black and white is white—it is as simple as that.

Take, for example, the idea of wearing a black wedding dress. While some culture may see the wearing of black as fitting in instances of mourning, it was actually a practice in Western societies which predated Queen Victoria. In fact, it was not the “color” that was the primary consideration at the time; rather, it is the quality of the dress itself—it does not matter whether it is black, ivory, white, or any other color known to man, so long as the attire is of best presentation.

What do you think? Should brides of today opt more about donning a colored wedding dress for one of the most special events in their lives?

Good Vibes: ‘Pormahan’ sa Evacuation Center as Evacuees Receive ‘Not-So-Ordinary’ Donated Clothes

Taal Volcano erupted with very little warning that most of the residents in the danger zone around the volcano were not able to bring a lot of stuff when they fled from their homes. A lot only had a few clothes with them, thinking that they could still get back to their homes after the danger subsides.

But as the volcano continues to show signs of unrest, and with large cracks appearing across many towns and villages around the lake, many of the residents were barred by authorities from going back to their homes. Thus, they had to stay at the evacuation centers and wait for help to arrive, in the form of relief goods and donations from the government and kindhearted netizens.

But you’ve got to hand it to these people who, despite the difficult situation they were in, still managed to find good in their situation and have a good laugh with what they were receiving from the relief goods. While there were a lot of clothes that fit the evacuees, there were also many that brought laughter to them.

For instance, a number of formal clothes made it to the evacuation centers.

There were are also many uniforms of all kinds – school uniforms, Girl Scout uniforms, security guard uniforms, and even uniforms of certain jobs, such as those that are used in hospitals by medical teams.

There are also bathrobes.

Apparently, not too many clothes were available for me, but there are lots of duster dresses. So, there were quite a number of guys who availed of these duster dresses, instead.

But what makes these people so admirable is that despite the difficulty in their situation and the many clothes that aren’t usually made for day-to-day wear, they still managed to smile and make light of what their experiencing! Instead of complaining, these Batangueños are still grateful that they are alive and are enjoying the mini ‘fashion show’ they did at the evacuation center. Kudos to you all!
