Wedding Coordinator Finally Faces Angry Bride, But Claims She Filed Cases Against Bride

Ruby Rubillos, a 32-year-old teacher, angrily reported Ma. Elisa Cabeso of Sofia Richest All About Events for ruining her wedding and even asking her to pay for the excess in the wedding guests.

The bride paid Php159,000 for all the services included in the list, plus catering for 150 people, but the coordinator only ordered food that’s only good for 100 from the caterer. She tried to deny this, but the caterers went with the bride to Tulfo because they have not been paid for the order yet!

Ma. Elisa agreed to go to Tulfo to face the bride; she arrived accompanied by her daughter, Juzella Cabeso. She brought photos as evidence against the bride, saying they were able to fulfill what the bride had paid for but want to be paid for the excess of over 150 people who arrived and ate at the wedding reception.

The bride insists she wouldn’t pay for the excess because the caterer had only provided food for 100 people and it was impossible that 250+ had been fed at the event because there were only 100 chairs prepared.

The wedding coordinator kept changing the subject or would not directly answer the bride and the others. When asked whether she would pay the caterers, photographer, and emcee, she said she had not yet received the photos and she didn’t eat the food… Tsk. Tsk.

What Does a Wedding Coordinator Do?

A wedding coordinator acts as liaison officer between the couple and the wedding suppliers. The aim here is for the bride and groom to simply enjoy their wedding, while the wedding coordinator is the one in-charge of all the behind-the-scenes activities to ensure that everything goes as planned.

More often than not, the wedding coordinator is the one who contacts all the wedding suppliers, orders everything and makes sure the suppliers deliver, and ensure that the wedding guests also feel welcomed through ushers provided.

Best Bridal ‘Car’ for a Pinoy Wedding: A Carabao-Drawn Carriage

It probably won’t work in an urban setting, of course, but if you lived in a rural area, then you must have seen your fair share of Pinoy weddings with a carabao-drawn carriage as the bridal ‘car’ – and it looks so nice, right?

Carabao-Drawn Bridal ‘Car’ Goes Viral

The carabao is an animal of labor, recognized in the Philippines as the national animal. It’s not just a hardworking animal that helps in the field, plowing the ground to help farmers, but a carabao is also admired for its strength, perseverance, power, and efficiency.

As the national animal, the carabao is a symbol of the Philippines. So, if you’re planning to do a Philippine-themed wedding, then having a carabao-drawn carriage might work for you.

Just like this couple, Card and Yeng, who got married last November 20, 2021, in a Filipino-themed wedding. Not only did they choose to have a carabao-drawn bridal ‘car’, they even had a Philippine flag hanging from one of the makeshift poles in their carriage.

Though the wedding was obviously scheduled at daytime, there’s a lamp hanging at both sides of their carriage – another symbol that you can commonly find in the Philippines.

It would definitely be fun to ride in this special carriage. While it might not be practical in many places, particularly if you live in the big city where carabaos might be too scared to walk on the busy streets or too tired to walk so far, it certainly looks perfect in this rural setting.

If given the chance to do it, would you also have a Filipino-themed wedding with a charming carabao-drawn carriage? It’s quite adorable!

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Card and Yeng! Great idea on using these Filipino symbols for your wedding.

Baby Born with Undeveloped Twin Attached to Chest, Draws Attention in South Cotabato

A baby in South Cotabato is drawing the attention of curious neighbors and netizens because of an undeveloped twin attached to the chest. Many neighbors have taken to visiting their house to take a peek at the baby’s unusual appearance, but the mom’s heart is simply broken to see the child suffering.

Baby with Undeveloped Twin Draws Attention

Conjoined twins have become common, with several gaining attention in recent decades for various reasons, including being conjoined at the head or stomach.

But there are times when one of the possibly conjoined twins doesn’t develop and still remains attached to the surviving baby.

Just like what happened to a child in South Cotabato, who’s becoming an ‘attraction’ of sorts in their locality.

Nu’ng lumabas siya, nagulat po ako sa nakita ko! Nakapatong po kasi sa leeg niya ‘yung dalawang paa. Sa gitna, may dalawang kamay. Ang nasabi ko na lang, ‘Diyos ko!’” said the child’s mother, Angie.

On the child’s chest are a smaller pair of legs facing towards his body, with just a small part that must have been the undeveloped baby’s supposed body.

It’s clear that this would have been another baby had it fully developed. It’s unclear whether that two would have been conjoined twins if the other one had become developed, but the child is now drawing curious neighbors to their home. They want to see the child, especially because they believe cases like this can bring them luck.

But she just takes pity on her baby.

Pero ang sa akin po, bilang ina, napakahirap na makita na nahihirapan ang anak mo.

It might be possible for this undeveloped twin to be removed from this kid’s body, but the family doesn’t have the means to pay for the medical bills that would ensue.

What’s a Parasitic Twin?

An undeveloped twin attached to a surviving baby is called a parasitic twin or, sometimes, a vanishing twin. Each case is unique, with the attached parts varying among patients. Some are even found inside the living child’s body and discovered only years later.

Parasitic twins occur in fewer than 1 in 1 million births.
