Video of Kid Playing with Huge Snake Draws Mixed Reactions

Would you let your kids play with snakes – as in real snakes?

Snakes are among the most dangerous animals on the planet; although not all snakes pose danger to humans. There are snakes that might be small in size but pack so much power in their venom that anyone bitten is unlikely to survive. There are also snakes that don’t have venom and won’t bite but their huge bodies can wrap around the victim and squeeze out their life. Ouch.

Recently, the video of a kid playing with a huge snake drew mixed reactions from netizens.

At the start of the clip, you might think that the kid was just playing with a realistic toy that resembles a snake but the creature actually moves and it was soon easy to see that this was obviously a real one.

The kid didn’t even showed the slightest bit of fear as he used the snake’s body to slide down and have a good time. Then, the snake became his ‘ride’ as it slithered forward. But soon the kid got bored of the slide and began to really think of the snake’s slithery body as a playground, slipping and sliding along the length of its scaly body.

Then, as if truly enjoying what he was doing, the unnamed kid ran down to the snake’s head and picked it up like it was just a toy or a really harmless pet.

Of course, the snake could really be full and wouldn’t eat the kid at this time but danger still lies here, especially considering the child was small and the snake was really long and huge, reminds TrendZilla. Did his parents know that snakes are known to swallow prey much larger than the width of their bodies or the size of their mouths?

But the kid does look like he was having a good time. Would you let your kids do this?

Biological Mom, Adoptive Mom Reconcile for 13-Year-Old Daughter They Both Want to Get

They both want to get back 13-year-old Princess, leading to an altercation that brought them to Raffy Tulfo in Action. But biological mom Gloria Acuesta and adoptive mom Carolina Mayorca eventually reconciled on the show as they promised to be one family as they both love this young girl.

It can be recalled that Nanay Carolina went to Tulfo for help in getting back Princess from Gloria. She had been caring for Princess since the girl was 1 month old but not that she is 13 years old, Gloria came and took the teen away.

On the show, Gloria admitted that she didn’t know what to do with the sick baby at the time because she didn’t have a job, her husband was a construction worker who didn’t earn a lot, and they also had four other children to feed. When her sister told her that a friend, Carolina, and her live-in partner Evelyn were looking for a child to adopt, she decided to give Princess to them.

According to Gloria, she brought the child to the couple’s home; but Carolina said she doesn’t know Gloria and the latter had given her the baby at the LRT station where she’s working. Both insisted on their versions of the story.

Carolina clarified that the LRT scene happened, but Gloria must have forgotten because she was in tears the entire time. She and Evelyn cared for the baby but later returned her a week later because she was scared as they didn’t have adoption papers.

But 1 week later, Gloria went back to their house and gave the baby to Evelyn – and that’s the version she remembered. She had the handwritten note then.

Fast forward to the present, Princess wants to spend time with her biological family, especially because she can bond with her elder siblings and parents. Back at Nanay Carolina’s house, she’s just alone.

Carolina agreed that she can spend time with Gloria and the rest of the family. In turn, Gloria promised that she would not cut off the mother-daughter relationship of Carolina and Princess. Moreover, she promised to treat Carolina as family from now on.

This made Tulfo very happy! He decided to treat the entire family and Carolina so they can enjoy some bonding moments together… Here’s the video:

Mom Gives Away 1-Month-Old Baby, Takes Her Away from Adoptive Mom after 13 Years

Netizens are angry at the biological mother for taking a 13-year-old girl from her adoptive mom who cared for her since she was still a sick 1-month-old baby.

Carolina Mayorca, a 48-year-old building attendant in Pasay City, was asked to adopt the child back in 2006. At the time, Nanay Carolina was still working as guard at the LRT line when a stranger approached her, asking if she could adopt her baby who was so sick at the time.

This woman is Gloria Acuesta, a 41-year-old housewife from Novaliches, Quezon City. She gave away her daughter, 13-year-old Grade 7 student Princess, back when the child was just 1 month old. Nanay Carolina told Princess that she’s adopted. Later, Princess asked whether she could meet her biological parents; Nanay Carolina found Nanay Gloria and let them meet.

According to Nanay Gloria, Princess later messaged her older brother to get her from Nanay Carolina’s house because she is afraid of her adoptive mother who allegedly hits her when she is doing something Nanay Carolina does not want. Raffy Tulfo pointed out that Nanay Carolina has the right to discipline her, especially because she is ‘pasaway’.

Watch Part 1 here:

Netizens are taking Nanay Carolina’s side, saying that she is only trying to discipline Princess and that it is quite obvious that she loves the teen so much, particularly because she cared for the young girl ever since she was still a baby.

As they faced each other on Raffy Tulfo in Action, Nanay Gloria had more allegations against Nanay Carolina, but Princess is willing to go back to her adoptive mother. Since the case is made complicated by Princess’ doctored birth certificate, Tulfo refers the matter to a lawyer and the local social services office.

Watch Part 2 here:

Can You Register an Adopted Baby Directly to Your Name?

While it is tempting to simply register an adopted baby under your name in the birth certificate, this is actually against the law under falsification of public documents. Besides, DNA tests will later prove that the birth certificate is false.

To adopt a child, follow the legal proceedings by first reporting the case to social services so you can obtain legal papers. This is very important to avoid cases like what happened to Nanay Carolina.

VIDEO: Despite Possibility of Sudden Eruption, Resident Treks to Taal Volcano Crater

Taal Volcano might look so small and peaceful but this is the second most active volcano in the Philippines and among the 16 ‘most terrible’ decade volcanoes in the world! When it erupted on January 12, 2020, thousands of residents had to flee from towns around the lake.

Nearly 2 weeks after its phreatic eruption, the possibility of an explosive eruption remains as volcanologists continue to detect magma flow towards its surface; thus, Alert Level 4 remains up and residents are prohibited from entering the towns within the 14-kilometer radius around the volcanic island. The island is also off-limits, but some brave (or perhaps foolhardy) residents continue to defy police orders as they sneak in to get their belongings.

Recently, one resident was hailed for his bravery but also admonished by netizens after he trekked towards the crater of Taal Volcano to take a video and share what the volcano looks like after the eruption.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), Taal Volcano has 47 craters. Over history, eruptions happened in many of these craters. This year’s eruption happened at the main crater – and one resident (and a cameraman) actually trekked towards the crater to film the aftermath of the eruption!

Apparently, the resident went back to his home to check whether he could still save some stuff. But curiosity got the better of him as he trekked towards the crater, seeing that only a small smoke is coming out.

Despite the possibility of a sudden eruption that could easily claim his life or the fact that the new terrain is something he’s unsure of, this guy went to the mouth of the volcano to take a video. He explained to viewers how the eruption changed the landscape, not just taking out all the trees but also creating new holes in the ground and ‘humps’ in the otherwise flat area before the eruption occurred.

Here’s the video:
