Teacher Lets Students Watch Their Heroes Fail after She Caught Them Playing ML in Class

“Mobile Legends” (ML) is a popular multiplayer online battle arena mobile game that got a lot of people hooked. Many students are so hooked with the game that they often to try to sneak some time to play even while they are attending their classes.

Lady Majalia Amor Diaz caught several of her students playing ML in her class. At first, she let the matter pass and simply gave them a warning. But the kids were so excited to make their heroes win, perhaps, that they forgot about their teacher and continued playing.

When she caught them doing this the fourth time, Diaz got so angry with the kids for the blatant disrespect that she confiscated their smartphones. Then, she let the kids watch as their heroes failed in the game.

I caught them playing ML during class, I confiscated their phones and watched their heroes lose in front of them. I don’t know if it is the hero who lose the game (since I am not a fan of online games), but one thing is for sure: NABABAWASAN ANG STAR NILA kapag na defeat sila 😂 Maluhaluha sila e. Ulitin nyo pa ha 😊,” Diaz wrote.

The post was met with different reactions from netizens. While there were those who were amused that the teacher responded this way, others were not happy that the teacher confiscated the phones and gloated over what she did.

But the teacher clarified that she actually gave the students their phones back after the class ended. While many netizens were not in favor of what she did, many agreed that this would surely be an effective way to stop the kids from doing this again.

Student Praised for Finding Ways to Earn Extra Money While Also Helping Classmates

Being a student can be a difficult thing, especially when there are lots of things that you need to bring for school. Plus, there are times when your parents just could not buy you the things you needed for school for a particular day or could not buy school supplies when you needed them, often due to monetary constraints.

A young student found a way to solve that problem a bit, by selling some much-needed items or renting out stuff to earn money.

Sarah Arabella Sanchez Canlas shared photos of her extra business in school, so she could earn some cash as added ‘baon’ (allowance).

The enterprising student also knows that there are some students who just don’t bring a ballpen to school. So, she rents out ballpens for Php3 an hour, with a charge of Php30 if they lost the pen. LOL.

She also offers baby powder for Php5 per use, perfume for Php3 per spray, a*****l for Php1 per use, and comb for Php2 per use. This girl is really clever with her business, offering things that many students would need.

Some netizens commented that her items are quite expensive, considering that you can buy pens for just Php5 and a pad of paper (which has around 80 lbs) is just around Php10 to Php20, depending on the brand and grade level.

But, hey! It’s her business! She can price the items any way she wants because her classmates could choose to become more responsible by bringing their own school supplies instead of depending on others.

Post Encouraging People to Clean Up after Eating at Restaurants Goes Viral

Many of us love to eat out at restaurants and fast foods. It’s not that we don’t cook at home, but we just love to enjoy a good meal from these restaurants. But many of us also assume that it’s the restaurant crew’s job to clean up after the meal, right?

Well, technically, it really is the job of the crew to clear the tables and make the area clean again for the next customers. However, as a courtesy to the crew, why not help them do it, too? After all, we clean up the tables at our homes after eating – and the tables at these restaurants are no different.

Recently, someone shared a photo of a clean table, with all the plates, saucers, bowls, and glasses stacked up together in a neat pile. Even the calamansi rinds, spoons, and forks are neatly arranged on the stack, ensuring that the place would only take a few seconds to buss out.

Practice doing this whenever you will eat outside and you will surely bring smile on the crew’s face,” Junery Ace Villa wrote in a Facebook post.

The post quickly went viral, with many people commending Villa for what he did to the table and for the advocacy of sharing this so that other people would also do the same.

It is a good example of discipline, inabot ng maayos yung pagkain kaya dapat iwan din ng maayos yung pinagkainan ❤️,” netizen Sean Kristoffer Ronquillo commented.

Indeed, many are saying this is but a matter of discipline. Others also shared that a lot of diners do the same in foreign countries, but Filipinos simply leave the table in its chaotic order after a meal when dining out.

But many aren’t as keen to the idea, insisting that it is the crew’s job to clean the tables as they might break the dinnerware if they do it. Hmmmm. What do you think?
