Photos of Mysterious Baby Footprints in Malls Puzzles Netizens

Filipinos love to listen to scary stories, especially around Halloween season (that also falls near All Soul’s Day) – and nothing is scarier than the ones that actually come with photos as supposed evidence that the story is true! Whew!

Recently, Twitter was abuzz over photos of mysterious baby footprints that supposedly appear in malls in Balanga, Bataan.

According to Twitter user @kyuriiie, the mysterious baby footprints have been documented in malls around Balanga, such as Galleria, Ocampo’s, CPM, and Vista Mall.

The tweet claimed that this has been going on for many years and that the baby footprints appear to move around, appearing at different stalls each morning. The footprints were muddy and were often visible on the clean floor but sometimes these came with mud and grease; worse, the footprints sometimes had blood. Ewwww.

According to the story, the footprint is made even more mysterious by the fact that it doesn’t even come with a pair; though there are times when it was accompanied by an adult footprint, also of just one foot.

It was also claimed that it is best to leave the footprint alone because wiping it would just make the other one appear. Ooops.

This story has scared a lot of people, of course. Many hoped they would never encounter the footprints in the mall – and a lot feared for those who are working early hours at the mall and had to be the ones to discover the fresh set of prints.

But not everyone is scared, however. One mall worker shared photos of the footprints last October 14 but she was not scared. Instead, she felt that they were lucky that day because the prints appeared at their stall in Vista Mall.

User @kyuriiie added that the prints don’t just appear at night but sometimes during the day. Workers have reported seeing the prints appear even if no one actually passed by.

Some claimed that the prints were made by dirty street kids but guards don’t usually let street kids inside the malls. Plus if that’s the case, wouldn’t there be many prints instead of just a single footprint on the floor? Creepy…

Teen in Pain after 50+ Needles Were Found Inside Her Body, Family Thinks It’s by Witchcraft

A teenager was in pain for days, for no apparent reason. But doctors were surprised to find that there are more than 50 needles inside her body! Upon learning about the needles, the teen’s family think this was due to witchcraft…

Aurora (not her real name) suddenly fell ill. Her mother, Maria (also not her real name), was distraught over what happened to her daughter but was unsure why the girl was feeling this way. The girl would not tell them what happened or what might be the reason why she was ill.

After several diagnostic tests were ran on the teen, it was discovered that there were plenty of pins and needles in her body! Surprised over the discovery, the family could not find answers as to why the pins got inside Aurora. When asked, Aurora claimed she had no idea what happened.

Afraid of what might happen to the girl and seeking answers, the family turned to Independenciana Vergara, a ‘Babaylan’. According to Vergara, she was almost certain that a suitor was behind the witchcraft. The guy fell in love with Aurora but because she doesn’t like him, he decided to find someone to do black magic.

After seeing the photo of the x-ray, Vergara claimed that the image of a guy’s face in the x-ray was proof that a suitor was behind Aurora’s situation.

But after talking sincerely with the teen, Maria was able to coax her into telling the truth. At first, Aurora claimed that she had only ingested one needle but with prodding, she admitted she ate them all. She also shared that there was even a time she ate three needles at once.

Haunted Japanese Doll Brings Luck to Owner, But Scares His Friends

Most dolls are beautiful. While dolls were primarily made for children to play with, many have also become collectors’ items that appeal to adults – male and female alike.

When Coco Salvacion saw a Japanese doll being sold for Php3,500, it appealed so much to him that he bought it. The doll had a lovely face of what he believes to be a geisha made of paper, decorated with beautiful clothes and placed inside a glass case.

Coco put the doll in the living room. Every day, he would ‘play’ with the doll and rotate its case, calling her ‘Ganda’. He believed that the doll would bring him luck – and it did! According to Coco, his business transactions became smoother and he had a lot of clients.

But his friend, Jerome Flores Villanueva, believed otherwise. The doll had only been at their house for a few days when Jerome noticed odd things happening and weird sounds that come from the case. At 2 or 3 o’clock, the case would play the music even if no one cranked the button.

Then, things would be moved around the house. For instance, one shoe would be placed at another part of the house or keys would disappear.

This led Jerome to destroy the expensive doll! A few minutes later, he went back to the trash can to retrieve the doll but claimed that though the other parts of the case were there, the doll was gone.

Another doll owner also had a similar experience with a Japanese doll she bought. She claimed that there were times the doll would rotate even if she’s the only one living in the house. She was even able to take a video of the doll moving its head! Whoa.

Chick Hatches from Egg in Fridge, Draws Mixed Reactions Online

Netizens are having a good laugh over photos of a chick that hatched from an egg placed inside a fridge. The chick would go viral, but it would also draw mixed reactions because some netizens believe the photos were fake.

Abi Pajarillaga Gonzales shared photos of the chick on her social media account, sharing that it was her dad who bought the eggs.

“Yung itlog na binili nila Papa naging sisiw na. 😂

Nainitan din yata. Hahaha!

Kaya pala may naririnig ako, hanap ako ng hanap. Sya pala yung nag-iingay.😅😂

Pawis na pawis lang!🤣🤣🤣

The poor chick had a rather traumatic experience in the fridge but was soon rescued after an astonished Gonzales found it inside.

Gonzales explained that her parents bought the eggs for a bargain price, but they didn’t expect that it would have a special surprise inside. Perhaps this was because the eggs were organic?

According to Gonzales, she had cooked some of the eggs the previous night – and these were just eggs! Thankfully, she did not pick this one and the chick was safe.

But many netizens think the photos are fake, saying that one can’t hatch chicks from supermarket eggs. Some people believe she had actually placed native chicken eggs in the fridge and waited for them to hatch. Others also said it was impossible for an egg to hatch after being placed inside the cold fridge.

Gonzales explained that the family is not really using that fridge; that’s why the eggs were not cooled. Because there had been a brownout that day, it was hotter than usual; thus, it was possible that the fridge became its incubator that is why the egg hatched.

In an update, Gonzales shared that the chick is still very much alive and that it had really hatched from a supermarket-bought egg.
