In reality, there are just too many temptations out there for you to eat more or slack off on your exercise routines. Plus, losing weight isn’t as simple as dieting for a couple of weeks – you might need to do it for months.

But for the many who were actually able to achieve their goal, finding the right motivation is the key.

For Cris Cringol from Davao City, the motivation is the Php50,000 that her husband promised if she reached her weight goal: losing 17 kg in 5 months.

While that’s certainly difficult to achieve, especially for a busy mom of two, Cringol was able to achieve her weight goal. She admitted that it first started out as a joke with her husband, but she would soon take up the offer – and he followed through with the reward.

So, how was she able to achieve it? Through exercise, she said.

According to Cringol, she exercised twice a day – early morning and before going to bed.
