Concerned Citizens Break Car’s Glass to Save Two Kids Left by Parents

Two kids were rescued from a hot car after concerned citizens broke the glass to save their lives. The two young children were left by their parents inside the car which was turned off and locked.

Kids Left in Hot Car by Parents

There are so many people who are not aware of the dangers of leaving children or pets inside a locked car with the air conditioning turned off and the windows closed. Not everyone is aware how hot it can quickly become inside that car, even if the weather isn’t too hot.

So, just imagine how hot it could become and how much oxygen will be left inside the vehicle on a very hot day!

In a video shared by Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted, several concerned citizens could be seen surrounding a Suzuki Ertiga that’s parked near business establishments at a still undisclosed location. It turned out that some passersby noticed the small kids inside the car and were concerned over their condition inside the locked vehicle.

The concerned citizens could be heard speaking in Visayan, telling each other that the best course of action is to break the car’s glass because doing it without damage to the vehicle was taking them a very long time. The kids inside could be seen looking weak and sweaty.

Acting as fast as they could to save the children, they broke the glass window at the driver’s seat. With the window broken, they rushed to remove the car seat of the baby and moved it inside an air-conditioned establishment near where the car was parked.

Another person picked up the elder sister, still a toddler, and also brought her to the establishment where they were both given water.

The video did not show what happened next or how the parents reacted once they learned what these concerned citizens happened. But everyone is furious at the irresponsible parents and thankful that the kids were safe.

What Happens to Kids in a Hot Car?

Kids’ bodies actually heat up more quickly, about 5x, than adult’s bodies. When left in a hot car, kids’ major organs could begin to shutdown at 40 C. You could easily lose the child as temperatures rise to 41.5 C!

OFW in Saudi Arabia Reportedly Loses Sanity, But No One Knows the Reason

An OFW reportedly lost his sanity and ran to the highway, chased and protected by his friends and co-workers. It’s a good thing there were no cars at the time or he could have been hit in his daze.

OFW Reportedly Lost His Sanity for Unknown Reasons

The family and co-workers of Lester Domasin are stumped over the reasons why he appears to have lost his sanity all of a sudden.

Photo credit: Raffy Tulfo in Action

They have no idea what the young man is going through because he doesn’t talk about his problems or worries with them.

Lester has been working as a tea boy at the Tree House Café in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for nearly 2 years. According to his mother, Novelita Domasin, her son is kind and would regularly send them money from his salary. But they have no idea if he is facing any problems.

Lester’s sister Christine Domasin and his friend Junrey Villasotto also said the same thing.

According to Junrey, they saw signs that Lester seems to be having some mental issues. But they know that he’s not being maltreated or overworked at the company because he only goes on duty for the usual 8-hour shift.

They tried telling their higher-ups about Lester’s situation when it started, but they were told that Lester is alright and doesn’t seem to be a danger to others. But Junrey and their other co-workers had to chase after Lester when their dazed friend just wandered to the highway.

According to Junrey, they already informed their recruitment agency, International Recruitment Company, about Lester’s situation. Thankfully, he is now under medication and his agency is already processing his exit visa.

Raffy Tulfo promised assistance for Lester and his family. Watch the story here:

What’s an Exit Visa?

Manila Bay Looks Like Boracay in This ‘Dolomite Update’ Video by a Vlogger

A portion of the Manila Bay now looks like Boracay in a video made by a vlogger to update people about the controversial dolomite sand ‘dumped’ on that spot.

Manila Bay Looks Like Boracay

A lot of people have so many bad things to say about the dolomite placed at the Manila Bay, with clamors to divert the funds for other useful things such as vaccines and food for the poor.

Others are saying that the dolomite ‘dumped’ on that spot is useless and does nothing to make the place look any good.

But a video update by vlogger Junriel Llander shows that these naysayers are wrong. Yes, this dolomite project might be expensive but it has made the place look great!

Gone are the trash that used to cover this area. The usually murky waters and the dirty sand have been transformed into a piece of paradise that you could only see in areas with white sand beaches, such as the world-famous Boracay Island.

On May 24, 2021, Llander went to the spot with the dolomite sand to take a video of what’s happening at this area. There were a number of workers at Phase 1 Beach Front, all busy with keeping this place looking great.

Though the heavy equipment and the busy thoroughfare at the background betray the location, this place still managed to look like a slice of Boracay from some angles.

Llander credits the development to the ‘probinsyano’ president, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte who was able to make this place look beautiful.

No matter how bashers might say bad things about this spot, those who have actually gone to the area are saying that this spot at the Manila Bay certainly looks so much better than the dirty, grimy, garbage-filled dump it used to be!

What’s Dolomite?

Dolomite is a type of ornamental limestone rich in magnesium and calcium carbonate. Because of its white color, crushed dolomite could be mistaken for white sand. The sands at the beaches all over the world are mostly made up of quartz and feldspar.
