This Woman Doesn’t Have Much, But Still Shares Her Last Food with Her Dogs

Nanay Hazel lives in a shack by the street and doesn’t have much, but still shares her last food with her dogs! Her kind gesture went viral after it was shared by someone who spotted her dividing her last food so she and her dogs can all have something to eat.

Generous Heart

It is said that those who are poor are often the most generous because they know what it feels like to be hungry and have nothing to eat.

What’s exactly what Nanay Hazel did when she fed her dogs, even if that meant she only gets to eat a smaller portion of what she is entitled to have. Her kind deed to her dogs made her go viral, with many netizens praying they will have more food to eat.

According to Atty. Liavel Badillo-Crisostomo who spotted her in the streets, Nanay Hazel brought out a plastic bag with rice. She divided the rice into two, then divided half between her dogs’ food bowl. Then, she did the same thing with a can of sardines as their meal.

Touched by what she had witnessed, the lawyer got of her car and asked the woman why she did it, even if she didn’t have enough food for herself!

I went out of the car and asked her: “Nanay, wala na nga po kayo makain tapos binibigyan niyo pa mga aso ninyo?”

Nanay Hazel said: “Parang mga anak ko na sila, kung ano kakainin ko, yun din kakainin nila.”

Her words warmed my heart greatly. Kung sino pa yung walang wala, sila pa ang mapagbigay.

Knowing she is in the position to help, Atty. Lia gave Nanay Hazel an undisclosed amount of money. Nanay Hazel refused at first, but the lawyer insisted.

I offered to give her some money but she refused. However, I insisted and placed the money inside her pocket. She was so grateful. The smile she gave me was one of the highlights of my day,” Atty. Lia wrote.

“Kung makakadaan po kayo sa may BDO West Avenue, fronting Sangkalan, abutan po ninyo si Nanay Hazel. May Nanay Hazel’s actions serve as inspiration to all of us today. God bless us! 💛

Adorable Dog Goes Viral for School Uniform to Join Friend’s Online Class

An adorable dog goes viral for wearing a lovely school uniform to join her friend’s online class. The dog even pretends to study the learning materials around her! What a cutie!

Dog Wears School Uniform

A lot of people treat dogs more like their children or friend rather than just pets or guards around the house. Though there are people, of course, who think that dogs are simply animals to help them out, there are more who think that dogs deserve the best and are actually part of their family.

At the house Lizeth Orbigoso Saludar and her family in Antipolo City, Rizal, there’s a dog named Camila. They have to put her on a leash when she’s outside the house so she won’t roam around the neighborhood and get lost. But inside the house, they let her run free.

The family would sometimes dress her up in various clothes and costumes. Recently, they got her a school uniform – and it really was perfect to use as costume for Camila’s back-to-school post! LOL.

Because blended learning has started, the students in the house have to study their printed learning modules from school and attend their online classes. Since Camila had a school uniform, Lizeth thought that it would be cute to take some photos of their dog as she ‘studies’ with the lessons that they got from school.

Looking like she really is studying, Camila made a lot of netizens smile.

Timing po kase na nakadamit sya ng pang school saka start na rin po ng blended learning. Para kunware mag aaral din po siya… Pampa good vibes lang,” the young student explained.

Lizeth also explained that her sister had sewn the school uniform for Camila. It is cute, isn’t it?

Clothes for Dogs

These days, pet lovers can buy clothes for dogs. Of course, most dogs wouldn’t even need one because their fur will keep them warm but their owners think it is cute to let them wear clothes similar to those used by people.

There are also costumes for dogs, including ones for Halloween, Christmas, weddings, and doing cosplay.

Flight Attendant Loses Job Amid COVID Crisis, Sells LPG Tanks to Earn Money

A flight attendant who lost her job amid the COVID-19 crisis now sells LPG tanks to earn money. Though she went through tough times when she got laid off at work, she eventually learned to accept her fate and is now encouraging others not to give up!

Maurice Maureen Avila used to work as Lead Cabin Crew for Cebu Pacific Air. She was proud and happy with her job, enjoying her ‘wings’.

At the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Cebu Pacific Air and other airlines were among the ones to suffer the most due to the lack of trips. While there were modifications to their protocols to stop the spread of the virus, most trips were still canceled.

With no revenue and too many workers to pay, many airlines and various businesses had to close down. While there were those that remained in business, they had to retrench a lot of workers. Avila was among those who lost their job. It broke her heart so much and made her feel that she failed in life.

I am exactly one and half month unemployed. YES. I AM ALREADY UNEMPLOYED. I AM NOT A FLIGHT ATTENDANT ANYMORE. AND I DON’T HAVE THE WINGS ANYMORE…” Avila wrote.

It took me so long to accept and post this in social media. Madaming nagtatanong sakin pero hindi ko nirereplyan. Kase nahihiya ako. Kase feeling ko nagfail ako sa buhay.

She shares a photo taken back in her days as flight attendant and her current photo of what she does for a living. Instead of a trolley luggage to bring to the plane, she pulls a trolley of an LPG tank. It’s the first business that she and boyfriend Carl Anthony Beniga thought of doing to earn some money amid the crisis.

HINDI DAPAT IKAHIYA NA NATANGGAL KA SA TRABAHO. To others na nawalan din ng trabaho during this Pandemic, don’t lose hope. Narealize ko sa one and half month, na kahit anong gsto natin sa buhay kung hindi naman talaga yun ang plano ni Lord, kukunin at kukunin nya yun sayo,” she shared after making this realization.

She continues to hope that she’ll find a job as flight attendant again but while waiting, she’s now content as she grows this business with her boyfriend.

Teacher Gives Crayons to Student Who Can’t Afford to Buy Any

A teacher gave crayons to a student who can’t afford to buy any. The sweet act of kindness went viral, with many netizens wishing that all teachers were as compassionate as he is in dealing with all their students…

Teacher’s Act of Compassion Goes Viral

Students are supposed to learn the basics about shapes, alphabets, numbers, colors, and other things that everyone should know about. These are part of their lessons.

To help them learn, teachers don’t just teach them these basics through discussions but also let them do seat works, assignments, projects, and quizzes or tests to help them retain what they learned.

Recently, a teacher went viral for the act of compassion he showed to a poor student who was unable to answer his assignment properly because they could not afford to buy crayons.

Apparently, Teacher Velcher Castillo had given his students an assignment wherein they had to draw and design clothes that they had to color and beautify the way they want to. While the instructions were not visible, the art assignment certainly had to look good and must be in color.

But one of Castillo’s students was not able to color the assignment due to lack of crayons. The said student had the brilliant idea of still creating designs on the shirt but ‘coloring’ the assignment by labeling what colors should be on what spot.

Beneath the artwork, the student wrote apologetically, “Sir, wala po akong pambili ng krayola. Sorry po.” It was obvious that the student knows the colors and how to use them properly for the assignment but just wasn’t able to color the work due to lack of crayons.

Taking pity on the student and also wanting to encourage this young mind not to quit just because of poverty, the teacher decided to gift the student with a box of crayons.

Don’t be sorry, anak. Sir Vel understands you. Here’s a box of crayons for you. God bless and stay safe,” he wrote back on the child’s assignment.

He also shared words of encouragement to other students on social media.

Para sa bawat estudyante, isang mahigpit na yakap. Kapit lang. Laban lang. Tuloy lang. Magkikita kita muli tayo. Know that your efforts are valid and appreciated. Kahit na at kahit pa,” he wrote, sharing the student’s creative work.
