The school was having its graduation ceremony when Sir Christian noticed one of the students wearing broken shoes that were held together by scotch tape.

Upon seeing the boy’s shoes and knowing that they’ll be taking photos during the ceremony, the teacher quickly took off his shoes and gave it to the boy.

His fellow teacher (Facebook handle Van Nessa) shared the photos after feeling inspired over what he did.

Godbless you doi Zion Xian.. bili na lng u ulit shoes,” Sir Christian’s fellow teacher wrote, tagging him in the post and also writing that she felt like crying while watching him give his shoes to the kid.

Needless to say, the kid was able to march with pride and honor on stage – thanks to his teacher’s shoes.

That’s not to say, of course, that using less-than-ideal clothes can ruin a student’s big moment. But netizens truly appreciated what the teacher did.

Sir Christian hopes that his story will inspire others to help, especially those who can afford to share material things to others who are less fortunate.

According to reports, Sir Christian is well known for being generous and kindhearted to the students of their school.

Kudos, Sir Christian!

How to Repair Broken Shoes

Shoe repair options depend on the damage.

If the top separates from the soles, you can use shoe glue or other adhesives that work with rubber and the top part’s material (canvas, rubber, leather, etc.).

For shoes with holes, you might need to glue the parts together or have a shoe repair shop sew these parts together.

Padyak Driver & Leftover Food Collector Graduates Magna cum Laude, Now Teaches in La Salle

A padyak driver who also collected leftover food amazed everyone after graduating magna cum laude – and he now teaches in La Salle! Isn’t that amazing?

His story simply shows that anyone and everyone have the chance to turn their life around, no matter the circumstances.

Padyak Driver Graduates Magna cum Laude & Teaches in La Salle

When he failed the SASE (System Admission and Scholarship Examination) of the MSU (Mindanao State University) with a score of just 65%, Jerson Entrampas Aboabo felt like he was a failure in life.

He lost the will to go to school, thinking that he’s too dumb to be in college and that he should just find a job and quit thinking about getting an education. Yet a part of him continued to hope – and this part eventually won.

Due to his low score, however, he felt bullied and discriminated against from the courses he wanted to take.

Surprisingly, he was accepted at the BET (Bachelor of Engineering Technology) – Chemical Engineering of Technology despite the low score, but he processed his papers with a heavy heart. He really wanted to be a teacher.

He had already completed the enrollment procedure for the Chemical Engineering of Technology course when he decided to withdraw and try his luck at the Education Department to take up BSEd Filipino (Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Filipino).

Thankfully, he was accepted. He was finally excited to go to school because he got accepted in his dream course.

But his struggles didn’t stop at enrollment. In fact, it grew more difficult with each passing day. But this hardworking young man supported himself through college by continuing his job as padyak driver and leftover food collector – both of which helped support him in high school.

He would collect leftover food and sell it for Php20 per container.

At first, he felt ashamed about these measly jobs, but he later accepted them wholeheartedly, knowing that these are honest jobs.

Aside from struggling with these jobs, he even found time to do extra-curricular activities in school! He served in the College of Education-Executive Council for two years, became the secretary-elect and now Vice President for Communications at Rotaract Club of Iligan Bay, and the editor-in-chief of school paper SIDLAK IIT.

Amazingly, the student who failed the entrance exam graduated as magna cum laude and as the College Leadership Awardee and Department Leadership Awardee!

And his achievements didn’t stop there.

Twins Go Viral after Both Graduating Summa cum Laude from BS Math

Impressive twins go viral for graduating summa cum laude from a course considered by most people as extra difficult: BS Math (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics)! It’s amazing how these two graduated with the highest honors a college student could ever receive – and with their really difficult course. Wow.

Twins Go Viral for Graduating Summa cum Laude

UP Diliman (University of the Philippines Diliman) amazed everyone when they announced that they 147 students graduated as summa cum laude this year. Considering that it’s possible that nobody can graduate with this highest distinction in college, it’s amazing that so many graduated with it last July 2022.

Among the most impressive ones to receive the award are twins Margaret Esther Cruz and Madelyn Esther Cruz, both graduated with the same course, BS Math.

What’s even more impressive is that these two didn’t actually wait four years to complete the course. They’re so smart that they managed to finish their course in just three years. Wow.

It appears that their achievements started with a solid background, thanks to years of studying with Kumon.

Kumon Valenzuela Center shared that the twins learned the basics of counting, reading, and writing while they were still “in diapers.” The early learning program helped them achieve a lot even at an early age.

What’s also amazing is that these two aren’t just focused on academics but also enjoyed extra-curricular activities like other kids, including “piano lessons, arts and anything and everything that they were interested in.”

The twins helped each other learn advanced Math subjects, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus.

They were accepted in Philippine Science High School (main campus) and graduated high honors in senior high school.

Now that they’ve graduated college, Madelyn will head to Michigan, USA to study PhD, while Margaret will take up Master of Science in Mathematics at UP Diliman.

Can You Take PhD without Masters?
