Dogs Chase Ambulance after Sick Owner was Taken to Hospital

Last Wednesday, netizens were amazed to see six dogs chasing after an ambulance in Cianorte, south Brazil. It turned out that the dogs were chasing the vehicle because their sick owner was taken to the hospital.

The loyal dogs would go viral, earning praise from many netizens who were amazed that these animals would think about going after the vehicle, so they could be with their human.

The dogs would have also gotten inside Santa Casa Hospital but after staff told them to get out, they patiently waited outside the facility! These dogs are not just loyal, they are also a smart bunch!

All the time that the dogs’ homeless owner, Luiz, was at the hospital, the dogs waited patiently.

Luiz has been living in the streets for 20 years. According to amazed onlookers, the six dogs managed to run as fast as the ambulance, chasing after the vehicle despite this being a bit difficult for them to do.

At the entrance, the dogs howled in anguish because they were not allowed to get inside, but would later settle down after realizing their human was going to be safe in the hospital.

The dogs were desperate. They followed the ambulance, racing after it down the roads and arrived just as Luiz was being taken into the hospital,” said Amigos de Patas (Paws Friends) volunteer, Simone Zilane, who witnessed the heartwarming moment.

They went mad as they took him in and howled non-stop at the entrance. After a while they lay down on the ground and refused to leave.

Volunteers helped feed the dogs and look after them while Luiz was at the hospital; though they refused to leave the spot without their human.

It was actually lucky that the volunteers were there because Luiz passed through a different door on his way out of the hospital – and had no idea his dogs were waiting at the other side.

When we realized Luiz had been discharged and his pets were none the wiser, one of our volunteers went to fetch him from his brother’s house and take him to where the dogs were still waiting for him,” Simone shared.

According to Simone, Luiz was rather surprised to learn about what his dogs had done. Now that he is feeling better, Luiz is back in the streets with his dogs.

He continues to refuse help from homeless charities and families, saying he prefers to live in the streets with his beloved pets.

Guy on the Way to Meeting Helps Badjao Family, Feels Happy to Feel That They’re His Family

He is on the way to a meeting with fellow Frontrow members, but one guy did not hesitate to help a Badjao family. His act of kindness went viral, with so many people touched by what he felt when he was dining with this bunch.

The still unnamed guy shared that he was riding a jeep on the way to Cubao for a BOM at the Frontrow office when he heard the jeepney driver shouting at the family to get off his vehicle. The driver repeatedly told the family to get off, but perhaps they could not understand what he is saying or they had become numb to this kind of treatment from people. Whatever the reason, the family did not get off the vehicle, leading the jeepney driver to become angrier and continue to shout at them to leave.

Taking pity on the family, the guy told the driver to let them ride as he would pay for their fare. He had tears in his eyes as he watched the family getting this kind of treatment from the driver.

When they reached Cubao, the family also got off, but he heard one of the kids saying he was hungry. He didn’t hear what the parents said to the kid but knowing this bunch most likely did not have money to buy food as they didn’t even have money for fare, he decided to treat them for lunch.

He was a bit disappointed that the family was turned away when they entered the restaurant, but he talked to the manager and told the crew he would vouch for the Badjao family as he would also buy their food.

While they were eating, he felt so happy when he heard them say that they were grateful for his help because most people drive them away. But he was happier that he while he was eating with them, he felt like he had a family even for just a little while.

He hopes that he would see them again in the future.

Syrian Blogger Cooks Hundreds of Chicken Kabsa to Feed Evacuees of Taal Eruption

He might not be Filipino but for Basel Manadil who vlogs under the name “The Hungry Syrian Wanderer”, he is “The Adopted Son of the Philippines” – and he loves to give back by sharing his blessings to many Filipinos in need.

Recently, Basel went viral for the many things he did to help those affected by the Taal eruption. He gave N95 masks for free and just recently spent 11 hours cooking over 1,100 servings of chicken kabsa, a popular dish in the Middle East, to give out to the evacuees, again for free!

It did not matter to Basel that he and his team spent many hours cooking the dish and preparing the meals in packs for easy distribution to the evacuees, as long as he can help many people in need. He bought all the items out of his own money, not even asking for any donations. This endeared him more to many netizens who admired his big heart for Filipinos.

A lot of netizens agreed that Basel did not really have to do this; he has no obligation whatsoever to give anything to Filipinos. Yet he has proven so many times that it did not matter to him whether he’s Filipino or not, because by heart he is one – and he is ready to help his fellowmen without asking for anything in return.

Many netizens thanked him for his kindness and for letting Pinoys taste the favorite dish from the Middle East, while others joked that perhaps he should also give them some because the food looks so good!

And while there were those who took notice of the feathers still on some of the pieces, others commented that it was difficult for Basel and his team to check each piece of chicken because of the volume they prepared. The Taal evacuees could just take the feathers out with ease. What’s important is that Basel is helping out!
