KMJS Investigates ‘Dancing’ Matchstick Believed to be Controlled by Dwarves
Inside an old house in Sorsogon City, neighbors saw a dancing matchstick that appeared to move on its own without strings and no wind. While they believe this was controlled by dwarves, the paranormal investigator of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) discovered something else…

According to Evelyn Leoncito, the ‘punso’ in the house had already been there since she got married in 1990. Her mother-in-law used to talk to the entities living in the house, claiming that dwarves are there, but Evelyn just could not see them.

Evelyn’s husband, Mager Leoncito, confirms her story. According to Mager, there are times when they see very small footprints all over the house, particularly when it rains. His sister, Loreta, would also hang out at the ‘punso’ and spends most of her time there.

Often, Loreta would ask for favorite food, champorado which she would eat while hanging out at the ‘punso’ inside their house. But they lost Loreta in 1976. It came without warning; she wasn’t even sick. The family continued living in the house and ‘sharing’ it with the dwarves.

Recently, however, some neighbors noticed a matchstick dancing inside the house while buying something the couple’s store at the porch. The matchstick was standing on the table and was ‘dancing’ on its from 8AM to 11AM!

Jhonas Jamon, a neighbor, took a video of the strange movement – and this surprised Evelyn who had been in Manila at the time it happened. While cleaning the house, Melanie Beruega said she noticed that the matchstick was standing but there were no cobwebs or strings or magnets attached to it.

The family sought the help of KMJS to investigate the dancing matchstick. Paranormal expert Ed Caluag came. Though he was not told about the back story of the family’s old house, he would soon find the supposed ‘lost spirit’ of Mager’s late sister.

While ‘talking’ to the spirit, Loreta reportedly asked for champorado and told her brother that she feels sad that they had forgotten her. The couple promised to visit her grave and bring her favorite food…

Family Goes Viral for Having Three Kids with the Same Birthday
A family goes viral for having three kids with the same birthday – and they’re not triplets! Many netizens were amused, calling it a “life hack” because the family can surely save on costs because they hold the birthday parties at the same time.
Family has Three Kids with the Same Birthday
There are lots of factors that affect when a baby is born, but it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact date or time that they’re born even if their parents know exactly when the child is conceived.
Babies are often born anytime from 38 to 42 weeks gestation, but it’s also possible to give birth earlier than that – and even then, the actual due date isn’t sure.
So, imagine a couple’s surprise when they had their third baby on their two older kids’ birthday! Wow.
Apparently, their three kids have the same birth date – and, amazingly, they’re born exactly three years apart. We’re impressed.
Pamn Faye Hazel Cabañero, the three kids’ mother, gave birth to these three babies on January 27 of 2017, 2020, and 2023.
She explained that they didn’t expect this to happen, but it did, anyway. So, she joked that perhaps her womb only knows this day as the due date for her kids.
Because of the unique circumstances of her children’s birthday, Cabañero said that she’s thankful for this rare opportunity that happened to her family.
As early as now, they’re already planning the kids’ birthdays next year.
Many netizens were amused, saying that they wished they also had their kids on the same day because they can surely save money when throwing a birthday party.
But it appears that this isn’t unique to the Cabañero family.
In the post by News5 on Facebook, several netizens commented that their families also have a similar birth setup.
One netizen commented that her mom and her two siblings share the same birth date but are born in different years. Then, she and her brother also have the same setup – and it also happened with her two children.
Now, that’s even more amazing than the Cabañero family because this family actually had three batches or generations with the same birth date for each batch.
What are the Odds of Having the Same Birthday?
According to Scientific American, any two people have a 99.726027% or 364/365 chance of not having the same birthday. However, according to the birthday problem, at least two people will share a birthday in a set of n randomly chosen people.

Car Owner Accepts Onions as Payment after Vehicle Got Hit by a Tricycle – It’s for Real
A car owner has earned praise online after accepting onions as payment after her vehicle got hit by a tricycle! And it really happened for real, no joke. Yay or nay?
Onions as Payment in Vehicular Accident
The prices of onions have skyrocketed in recent weeks that netizens are joking about giving them out as Christmas gifts, using them as jewelry pieces and bouquets, or even to pay for something.
But netizens didn’t quite expect that paying in onions would become a reality – that’s why photos of a tricycle driver paying the car owner some spring onions after he hit her vehicle by accident quickly went viral.
Everyone just couldn’t believe their eyes because the memes and jokes have finally come true! LOL
In the photo, a young lady can be seen smiling from ear to ear while accepting a big bunch of spring onions from a somber-looking man.
It was shared on Reddit by Axle Gallardo (u/axle_gallardo).
“Sister In Law’s car got dented by a tricycle driver. Driver paid the car damage with Sibuyas (onions),” the post explained.
Axle’s sister-in-law (Reddit user u/Glad-Competition3835) explained that the accident, which happened in Laguna, was really the tricycle driver’s fault.
“The road was full. I saw him coming to the side of my car in my side mirror. And I don’t know why he was moving to the right towards me,” she explained.
“The left side is open and wide and he could have moved straight forward.”
Moments later, she heard a loud crash.
Upon inspecting the damage caused by the crash, the young lady talked with the tricycle driver. She learned that he’s a farmer who was just trying to deliver his farm goods to a nearby province.
It was unclear why the tricycle driver had crashed into the car. Surprisingly, the car driver didn’t get angry and joked, instead, that maybe the tricycle driver should just pay her using vegetables.
The farmer replied that he has spring onions.
It was really just a joke for the car owner who was already preparing to drive away, but the tricycle driver hurried back carrying two bunches of the spring onions.
She refused to accept them, but the farmer/tricycle driver insisted – so she ended up accepting one.
Can You Really Pay with Goods instead of Money?
Yes. That’s actually called trading – but can only be accepted if both parties agreed to the trade.
Amazingly, the young lady paid with spring onions also experienced a similar thing in the past – and the people that hit her vehicle paid her with two fresh, ocean-caught fish.
Wow. What a kind-hearted young woman.

Wanted Yaya Ad Goes Viral for Extremely High Standards
A wanted yaya ad goes viral for the extremely high posted by a certain “Mr. Leng.” Netizens couldn’t help but make comments about this photo, especially because the qualifications were similar to that of a beauty queen.
The real question now is whether Mr. Leng is really looking for a yaya or a beauty queen? LOL
Wanted Yaya Ad with Extremely High Standards
What qualities would you look for when it comes to looking for a yaya (nanny)?
Many of us are likely to pick hardworking, with experiencing handling and caring for small kids, and preferably someone mature, such as older than 30 years old (because some people think they’re more capable of caring for kids than younger nannies).
But a certain “Mr. Leng” posted a wanted yaya ad that got netizens scratching their heads (and some laughing) because the qualifications aren’t like what we’d expect for a nanny.
In photos circulating online in various Facebook groups and individual accounts, the ad by Mr. Leng appears to have been posted inside a restaurant.
The obviously Filipino restaurant was selling silog meals, batchoy, and other Pinoy favorites.
In the post, Mr. Leng is searching for a yaya who’s at least 5’8” in height. This number 1 qualification got many netizens laughing because it’s rare for Filipino women to be of this height, unless they have a mixed nationality.
If you have no idea, most Pinays have an average height of 5’ to 5’4”.
So, Mr. Leng is really pushing it when he posted this height requirement.
Next, he wanted one who’s Chinita, has flawless skin, and “maputi” (fair-skinned). It’s clear that he wants a mestizo (mixed nationality). After all, Filipinos have naturally brown skin, possibly morena (dark) complexion.
To top it all, the yaya has to have the vital statistics of 36-24-34 – and that, my friends, made everyone think that Mr. Leng is really looking for a beauty queen, not a yaya.
Perhaps it’s a joke – and that’s really the best explanation we can come up with over Mr. Leng’s extremely high standards for his wanted yaya ad.
What do you think of this ad?
What are the Qualifications to Becoming a Yaya?
You don’t need to have an educational degree to become a yaya, but some nanny agencies or employers might require at least a grade school diploma.
Other qualifications might include:
- Police clearance
- Recommendations (or past experience)
