Retired US Navy Officer Seeks Help Against ‘Gold Digger’ Balut Vendor Ex-GF

They fell in love when they first met, but the relationship between a balut vendor and a retired navy officer turned sour, eventually leading the old man to seek help from Raffy Tulfo in Action.

Alberto Frio, 69 years old, went to Raffy Tulfo for help against Ronelyn Solis, 29 years old, with whom he had a relationship with for nearly 4 years.

According to Alberto, he had supporting Ronelyn all those years, yet she would cheat on him with younger guys. While he forgave her three times and they were back together again, this fourth time is worse because she got pregnant with another guy’s baby.

The old man promised to still forgive Ronelyn the fourth time, yet the younger woman refused to be with him again. With that, Alberto said that if she won’t come back to him, he would take back what he gave her.

Tulfo interfered, saying he noticed so many rich and often older guys going to his show to get all their money back from younger girlfriends, but in this case, the two had been co-habiting; thus, Ronelyn is entitled to half the property and money Alberto gave.

The old man also claimed Ronelyn returned his ATM just recently, but she had spent all his money. However, Tulfo reminded him that if he had freely given that to Ronelyn, he can’t also get that money back because the bank won’t back him on that since an ATM and the PIN are supposed to be personal.

If you gave permission to anybody to use it, and freely gave your PIN with no written restrictions on the amount, then that’s as good as giving all the money inside the account to that person, Tulfo added.

Ronelyn also claimed that while she was a balut vendor when they met, she worked hard and used the money she won in the casino to build her house. Of course, the capital came from Alberto, but Tulfo also refused to help him get that amount because he should have known better that giving the money to the young woman so they can enjoy the casino is equivalent to throwing his money away.

While he estimates to have given her over Php4 million, Ronelyn can only given back Php30,000 in installment, she claimed, because she had no money left and no job – especially now that she’s 6 months pregnant.

Alberto wants Php1 million back; thus, Tulfo said he should simply bring the matter to court because Ronelyn didn’t have the money to pay him back, anyway.

What’s a Casino?

A casino is touted as a place for entertainment, but it really is a place for people to lose their money on various games of chance. With the odds of losing actually being several times more than the odds of winning, most people who enjoy going to the casino lose their money; if they aren’t rich, many end up being deep in debt.

Ukay Ukay Seller Finds 550k Yen (Php240k) from Wallet Inside Used Jacket

Are you fond of buying ukay ukay stuff? Have found something interesting or valuable inside? Well, one ukay ukay seller found 550k yen (Php240k) inside a wallet with no IDs – and he plans to use the money to expand his business! Wow.

Ukay Ukay Seller Finds Fortune Inside Used Jacket

For many people, particularly in the third world or developing countries, ukay ukay items are a cheap way of getting ‘new’ clothes, bags, shoes, and other items. While there are many items that are old, many are actually like new or would easily look great after washing or cleaning.

And there are some buyers or sellers who were actually lucky enough to find valuables or money inside! Others got hold of rare or limited-edition bags, clothes, and shoes!

In Petaling Jaya in Selangor, Malaysia, 29-year-old ukay ukay seller Wan Mohamad Adam Wan Mohamed bought two bundles of used clothes from a warehouse in Wakaf Baru.

He paid RM50 (Php600) for each bundle.

I opened the sack of clothes to arrange the items as I plan to sell them as a bundle. I found a black wallet in one of the coats in the sack,” Mohamed explained.

I was surprised to see so much cash. I counted the amount before taking photos and uploading them onto my Facebook page at 9.20pm yesterday.

He received various reactions after posting the windfall, with some saying that he should find the owner.

But the wallet didn’t have any IDs or anything that would have identified the owner. Also, since the wallet contained yens, it mostly came from Japan.

Because there seems no way for Mohamed to find the original owner of this wallet, he considered it as a lucky windfall. He plans on using the money to buy more sacks of ukay ukay to sell at his shop.
